I received zip, zero, zilch from Jamberry or my Jamberry Independent Consultant (Lindsey Tyner) for posting about Jamberry Nails. Jamberry has no idea who I am. Lindsey barely does, as we just met a little over a week ago. I honestly just think their product is uber cool… so much so that I buy it myself! The giveaway below is 100% sponsored by Mama.Mommy.Mom. and no one else.
So, now that I have that out of the way, check out my nails… If you think they’re pretty cool, stick around for a giveaway at the end of this post.
I am ready for Memorial Day (or July 4th, or Labor Day, or any day!)
These are Jamberry Nail wraps. They are kind of like a sticker, kind of like a really awesome polish job. I had never heard of them before last weekend, but I can see these becoming my newest ‘must-have’ fashion accessory!
I was working a booth at a vendor fair last week for a friend. Each tent had 3 vendors. Jamberry Nails was set up right next to us in the tent. Of course, I had to check it out. Lindsey had samples we could apply ourselves right there in the tent. I was impressed with all the cool designs the offered an grabbed a sample to try for myself. I wasn’t sure that I really believed they would last 2-3 weeks, so I decided to leave the sample wrap on. By the end of the day, I had already decided to order some for myself and my daughter (super cool kid’s designs too!)
It took the wraps about a week to get here. I ordered 4 sheets (buy 3, get 1 free). In the meantime, I left the sample wrap on. I may have looked crazy walking around with one really cool nail and 9 naked nails all week, but I’m ok with that because I feel confident that these wraps will stay on at least 2 weeks, just like promised. When I removed the sample wrap yesterday, it looked just as good as it did when I put it on a week ago.
And, then I made a video for you… Excuse the hair and sunglasses and general deshevelledness. I’d been in the car for a long time.
Isn’t that cool?
In addition to the America set, I also got the Sour Cherry Pie set, the Stripes & Skulls set (mainly for my girl) and the Runner Girl set. I had a really hard time deciding which to put on, but decided that America was the way to go for Memorial Day.
As you can see, my nails are pretty short, but Jamberry still works great! I’m actually hoping this will keep me from picking at/messing with my nails so much and maybe, just maybe add a little heft to them to keep them from breaking so easily. They seem pricey at first, but if you think about it, they really aren’t bad at all. If you order 4 sheets, you’re paying $11.25 a sheet and you will get at least 2 full applications out of that. So, at minimum, you’re looking at great nails for 4 weeks (maybe more) for $11.25. I think that’s a great price. Plus, they will look way more awesome that they would with plain polish!
If patterns aren’t your thing, Jamberry has a great selection of solids too. I want to order all of them… right now. Polish lasts a few days for me at most, and even then it’s usually marred. Do yourself a favor and give these a try. You will love the results and your hands will look amazing!
Giveaway – And, because I think these are so darn cool, I’m giving away 4 sheets of your choice to one lucky Mama.Mommy.Mom. reader! All you have to do to enter is visit Lindsey’s site and leave a comment here telling me at least one design you’d pick if you win. You can tell me all 4 if you like! 4 Sheets is enough to keep your nails looking great all the way through summer and more.
The giveaway will run through 11:59 PM on June 8th. Winner will be selected at random using random.org.
