At The End Of The Day…

 Summer is almost here.  The days are longer, hotter and we’re spending more time outside.  Saturday seemed perfect for a picnic in the park.  It was really warm for most of the day, but it seemed to cool a bit in the shade of the trees and with the sinking sun.  The friendly neighborhood mallards joined us for dinner.  At one point, mama mallard was all but in my lap.  Attempting to pet them seemed to be a challenge worth the princess’s time.  After our picnic dinner, the kids played on the playground for a bit and we took a little walk around the pond.  The light was spectacular, so I grabbed my camera…
