It’s Friday and time for a quick update on my progress!
I’ve been a work in progress my whole life, and always will be, but my physical progression to a smaller, more compact me began almost a year ago. I’m not hard core, after all I need this to be ‘liveable’ for me! If you’re here, I’m sure you’ve figured out by now that I love food. That’s not a love I’m willing to give up on. It’s part of who I am and something that I will never let go of. That being said, I’ve made a lot of changes in my eating habits, added regular workouts and really started focusing more on me.
You know the old saying ‘If mama ain’t happy, nobody’s happy’? Well, this mama is going to be happy!
Here’s my progress:
I’ve dropped 2 full pant sizes! My bra size has dropped too, but we won’t talk about that :/
I’m down 40.6 pounds! That’s an average of .8 lbs a week. It seems really small when you look at it that way, but small is achievable!
I’m dropping inches! 9.5 from my waist, 4.5 from my hips and 3.5 (7 total) from thighs to be exact! That’s 21 inches. Twenty-one. Wow.
I’m far from finished. The road has been long, and there’s a lot of ground to cover in front of me. I could let that slow me down, but looking back… I’ve come so far! Getting to where I am now was far harder than continuing to move forward will ever be.
