This is my street earlier today. Clear and blue to one side, and completely looking like the gates of Hell were opening on the other.
I’ve never really given much thought to tornadoes until a week and a half ago, and now we’re starring down the barrel of another crazy line of tornadoes heading our way. Last time it was during the day. This time…we’ll be sleeping.
The National Weather Service has issues a PDS warning. Particularly Dangerous Situation warning. Apparently it’s a pretty big deal and does not happen often.
We don’t have a basement, or even a crawl space (we’re on a slab). We have a tiny power room in the middle of our first floor.
I don’t think I’ll get much sleep tonight.
