Kerr Mill – Mt Ulla, NC

I’m trying to really learn my camera and the art of photography.  I enjoy taking pictures of so much more than just my kids.  I have some awesome shots (at least I think so) of an old mill not too far from my home.
I’m shooting with a Canon Rebel XSi with a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens.  I just got the lens about 2 weeks ago and I’m happy with it so far.  Since I’m taking classes this semester (Technical Communications – It sucks), I get a discount through Adobe.  I used it to save major $$ on CS4 Photoshop.  I have barely scraped the tip of the iceberg on learning how to use it.  I have so much to learn about keeping colors consistent across a shoot and skin tones may be the death of me 😆
Anyway, here’s some of what I took the other day.  CC is welcome.
