Tagalong Cupcakes {Girl Scout Cookies At Their Best!}

Tagalong CupcakesThis is love, people.  Love, in it’s pure sugary, peanut buttery goodness.

I found this recipe over at Inside BruCrew Life and could not look away.  I am the biggest Tagalong fan there ever was!  They have single handedly wrecked my weight loss goals on more than one occasion, and not having these cupcakes for my very own was out of the question.

My sister, baker extraordinaire – Mandy @ Pure Confection, whipped up a batch after trekking across two counties to find the last box of Tagalongs on the face of the earth (well, at least the last box we could find).

These are heaven.

The Tagalong is star and the icing, is well, the icing on the cake.

Tagalong Cupcake 2Per the baker extraordinaire, the icing recipe makes enough for about 2 dozen cupcakes.  There are only about 14 Tagalongs in a box.  What did she do with the rest of the icing, you ask?  She’ll never tell.
