Quick and Easy Pizza Pockets (Featuring Farm Rich Meatballs)

Busy, busy, busy!

I don’t know about you, but that pretty much describes what my life has been like since November.  And endless parade of holiday gatherings, family obligations, birthday parties and whatnot has left us exhausted and looking for something warm and comforting that doesn’t come in the form of a casserole.  Don’t get me wrong, I love a good casserole – but even I can only handle so much.

Pizza is one of our family favorites, but we all have very different tastes when it comes to our pizza.  My husband is a meat pizza kind of guy, while my kids just want the pepperoni and I want a nice mixture of everything.

Trying to feed a family of 4, all with very different tastes, can sometimes prove difficult.  Farm Rich understands.  They have a great selection of easy-to-prepare, sure to please, snacks and meal starters that always fit the bill!

The Players:

Farm Rich Original Meatballs
Pepperoni
Pizza Sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
Mushrooms
Black Olives
Onion
Crescent Rolls

Two of my favorite things about Farm Rich Original Meatballs… They come in a resealable bag (easy to use what you need and store the rest) and they are microwaveable!  If the kids want spaghetti and meatballs… grab a few out of the resealable bag and toss them in the microwave!  The meatballs are done before the water is boiling for the noodles.  The best part… the meatballs are as good as any I’ve ever made from scratch!

To make it easy to suit everyone’s needs, I set up a pizza pocket assembly line.  Everyone can design their perfect pizza pocket and no one has to pick out anything they don’t like!

To assemble, take the crescent triangles and flatten them a bit with a pastry roller (or simply use the palm of your hand).  Layer on your toppings (the hubs had meatball, pepperoni, pizza sauce and mozzarella).  Top with a second piece of crescent dough and press the edges to seal it up.

Your finished pockets go into a preheated oven as directed on the crescent dough package.

In 11 minutes, we had a warm and crispy lunch time treat that pleased everyone’s taste buds and even had the kids asking for seconds!
