I’ve never held a butterfly before. I’ve certainly never had one crawl up on my hand and refuse to leave. Until Friday. More on where we were and what we did coming up this week, but for now… enjoy a simple thing from my trip to the coast.
A beautiful butterfly, missing half of one wing, just looking to catch a ride on my finger. He’s broken, but all of us are in one way or another.
Happy Sunday…

What a beautiful photo and such a perfect “simple thing”
A simple thing, but how many people have a butterfly land on them – not many! he’s very pretty!
How fantastic.
Love your picture. We’ve been having an interesting week with butterflies at our house. A momma must have come in at some point in the past because we’ve had about 15 in our laundry room over the past several days. There will be anywhere from 1-4 on the window in the door, trying to get out. We were never able to see where they were hiding, but it was pretty cool.
I like this! Happy Sunday!
Your butterfly looks quite comfortable resting there. And your words were eloquent and so very very true.
This is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing
