The Doctor is In! Please Welcome…

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas!  (There’s that ‘we’ again…)

It’s been a crazy few days here – it always is this time of year – and I don’t know about you, but I am seriously ready for some quiet time.  I love my family, but there’s only so much a girl can take before she needs a booster for her anxiety meds.  I’ve declared today a ‘mental health’ day. which seems fitting considering the introduction I’m making this morning…

I told you all last month that we had new additions coming for the new year, and today I will introduce you to the first new contributor to Mama.Mommy.Mom.

Please welcome Momma Mani

Momma Mani (pronounced “Money” – there’s a story behind that) is the mother of two rambunctious little boys, is a wife, is owned by a very fluffy Siberian husky, and is a tiramisu connoisseur.

She has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and has her own psychology practice outside of Charlotte, North Carolina where she sees children, adolescents, and adults.

She has enjoyed writing for as far back as she can remember, and she has worked as a freelance journalist and copy editor in the past. In her spare time, she enjoys doing obstacle course races and being an information junkie.

I’ve known Mani for years.  Her love for random information, quick wit and excellent taste in music (btw – she is an amazing singer too) all give her an A+ in my book.

So, grab your red spoons and give Momma Mani a warm welcome to the Mama.Mommy.Mom. team!

  1. Welcome, Mani!! How wonderful!!
This is going to be fun!!
(also, what is an obstacle course race? It it like a steeplechase for people? It sounds totally hardcore. The only obstacle course I run is trying to walk around the playroom at the end of the day. It’s totally hazardous. Stepping on LEGOs hurts!)

Can’t wait to read what you write!!
