Wear Your Heart On Your Wrist {And Hair!} with CyndiBands

CyndiBands on WristWhere Did I Put Those?

If you’re anything like me, even if you start the day with your hair down, it’s usually up in some fashion or another before the day is over. The days that I actually make it to bedtime with my hair down? Those days are usually the results of my inability to locate a hair band. I used to wear a hair band around my wrist, but they were leaving nasty marks on my wrists. After seeing what one did to my daughter’s wrist after she slept with it on… no way was I doing that again. She had a mark that didn’t go away for days!  No more hair bands on our wrists…

When CyndiBands reached out to see if I’d be interested in trying their hair ties, I almost passed. Then I thought about how much my daughter loved wearing hair bands on her wrist, and figured I’d give them a try anyway. Worse case scenario, I wouldn’t be happy with how the ties worked in my hair and the girl would end up with some cute, fashionable arm wear. I knew this material wouldn’t leave those nasty marks on her arm.

CyndiBands valentinesdaycollectionValentine’s Day Goodies

CyndiBands sent me a pack of their XOXO Valentine’s Day Hair Ties and a pack of their Conversation Hearts Hair Ties (there’s a giveaway for both below) to take for a spin. Upon opening the package, my daughter immediately attempted to commandeer them.  Fashionable? Check.  Would they work though?

My daughter and I both have very fine hair, but we have a lot of it. Basically, our hair is heavy and slick. There are very few things I can do to keep her hair up and out of her face for more than an hour or two without eventually taking it down and redoing it. As for mine, I am constantly messing with it when it’s up (or down for that matter.)

CyndiBands for KidsSuccess?

We put the girl’s hair up with one of the CyndiBands some time before lunch, and I am happy to report, her hair stayed up all day (with the exception of a few pieces that fell around her face.)  Her hair wasn’t creased when she took it down for bed and she was able to throw her band on her wrist and wear it all night (I don’t know why she likes to do that, but she does) without waking up with gnarly marks on her arm.

We were very pleased!  The bands are really cute, come in a TON of color options and they make my girl happy.  Definitely a win for me!
